Subject: | ODG: Hold the Date, Obligations VI |
Dear Colleagues:
The Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario is pleased to announce that Obligations VI will be held on July 18, 19 & 20, 2012 in London, Ontario at the world-class Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre (http://www.dolce-spencer-leadership-centre-hotel.com/).
The theme of the conference is Challenging Orthodoxy. We expect that the call for papers will be sent early in 2011 (so put your thinking cap on).
For those of you who have never been to Canada before, London is a two-hour drive from Toronto and Niagara Falls and is 45 minutes from the world famous Stratford Shakespeare Festival (http://www.stratfordfestival.ca/). London is also close to some of the world’s best freshwater beaches (at Sauble, Grand Bend and Wasaga) and Bruce Peninsula/Fathom Five National Park, a world biosphere preserve which is home to over 22 shipwrecks and several historic lighthouses (http://www.50plus.com/Travel/BrowseAllArticles/index.cfm?documentID=19037).
We hope to see you in London in 2012. Registration and accommodation details will be announced in 2011 on the ODG, and will be available through the Western Law web page (http://www.law.uwo.ca/).
Sincerely,
Jason Neyers
